Last Friday I made the drive up to UC Fullerton to meet up with the McCaman family. I’ve photographed Melissa and her family twice now, but when they made the move to the mid-west earlier this year, I wasn’t sure I’d get the chance to again. I was thrilled to hear that they’d be in Orange County this month, and was more than happy to make the drive up there to take their family photos, which this time included her husband’s parents as well.
Shooting at a new location is always fun, but shooting at one that I not only didn’t pick out, but had never even seen had me a bit nervous I must admit. When I arrived I was so relieved with the location they selected, The Fullerton Arboretum. The grounds were simply gorgeous; with multiple ponds, ducks, turtles, bridges and lots and lots of flowers and trees. Too bad this location isn’t closer to San Diego!!
