Last Wednesday was back to school day at Belle’s preschool, College Park Preschool. This year our big girl is going 5 days/week (vs. the two days she went last year) and she is VERY excited! She’s also lucky enough to have her two close friends Eva & Carter in her class, and I am already in love with her teacher, Mrs. Cantelon.
Before we left for school I suggested that we take some photos to document her big day, and of course she was happy to oblige. As soon as I put the camera to my eye she started doing her usual “look at this Mommy”, and proceeded to show me all of the poses in her repertoire (which consists of about 8 different faces ). After that it was off to school to get her settled into her class which took all of about 30 seconds. Her school uses a Reggio-influenced approach to teaching, so each classroom look more like rooms you’d find in your own home vs. your typical classroom. Including family photos of each student’s family found throughout the room. Did I mention I love her school??
