My First Blog

Hello and welcome to my new blog! I’ve put off starting my blog for weeks now because for some reason, I’ve been completely freaked out about it. However, I’m sure in no time I’ll get the hang of it and soon enough it will become yet another online obsession 😉

So I guess I should start by telling you all a little bit about myself and my photography business. As most of you know, it all started with Isabelle. I mean, as long as I can remember I’ve always loved taking pictures, but when she was born it became my passion. Soon enough I was bringing my camera to playgroup every week, as well as taking random pictures of Belle on a regular basis. People had always complimented me on my photos, and there had been the “have you ever considered doing this for a living?” question, but I didn’t pay much attention. Then one day last Summer quite a few of the Mom’s in my playgroup mentioned that they would hire me to take Holiday pictures of their families, and said that I should seriously consider starting my own business. After my first day of photo shoots I was elated, almost in tears. I’ve never had that feeling after a day of work… that feeling that THIS was what I was meant to do! And so, with the support of my family and friends, Grin & Share It was born.

It’s only fitting that my very first blog, contains photos of my very favorite subject, in one of my very favorite parks in San Diego, Presidio Park. Enjoy!!
