We’re Homeowners!

Joel & I just closed on our 1st house last night! We are both excited, proud and can’t wait to make the house our home. Tomorrow is cleaning day (the house has been empty for about 3 months so spiders now think they live there), Saturday we’re having a small painting party, and Sunday the movers will be here at 8:00am to move us. Man, I feel like such an adult 😉

It’s been quite a crazy week too… on Tuesday morning I threw my back out trying to pack some heavy items before work. I was flat on my back until about 1:00pm yesterday. Then around 5:00pm last night my throat started huring (Belle was sick all weekend), and I woke up this morning with the flu. Body aches, nausea, runny nose etc. Not sure what I’ve done to make the moving gods mad, but I’m hoping that whatever it is they’ve forgiven me and I will feel back to normal tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed. Thank goodness I’m married to the most amazing man/Dad who has totally picked up the slack in my poor state. I love you honey!!!!!!

If anyone is looking for a Realtor (ask for Mike Gassaway) or a Mortgage Broker (ask for Austin Bunn), these guys ROCKED!

Oh my gosh! This reminds me of my last move! I had to move into a three story town home with little to no air going to my lungs as I went up and down. Why does it have to happen during the move? OY! I’ll send some good moving vibes your way, girl!

BTW: Love the blog! And thanks for the workshop info. I’m in SD, too, so hoping to get to the next one.

I’m so excited for you to be my neighbor!

By the way, I passed your name along to a friend who needs a photog for, ummm…this Saturday. So that might be moving day for you — so tell her no if you need to. But if you want it, it’s some extra cash for home decor, right?
